Established by Ruth and Alan Irving in 1979, the "Al" and "Ru" of Al Ru Farm, this iconic South Australian venue is just 40 minutes from the CBD, between the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills.
 

Originally a modest home on cleared land, it has evolved into a 10-acre garden estate. The first wedding was held in 1990, with new event spaces like 'The Barn' added over the years.
 

Ruth and Alan still live in the homestead they’ve developed for 45 years, The farm also breeds Charolais cows, produces olive oil, and runs a small nursery.

 

Ruth and Alan love sharing Al Ru Farm with visitors, whether they’re holidaymakers, foodies, or garden lovers.
